Hi! 👋 I’m Jason. I’ve been developing software for 20+ years, from embedded systems to web applications. Since being introduced to Ruby, I fell in love with the mantra of developer happiness and the expressiveness of the language. Here you’ll find various articles about some of my insights and challenges long my software development journey.

The name of this blog is “predicate method” for a couple reasons. First, it’s a bit of a Ruby-ism to define methods that return a true/false value with a question mark (?). These methods are sometimes referred to as a “predicate method”. Secondly, it seems fitting to a theme of asking and answering questions about software development.

My current project is Ruby on Rails web application with the goal of helping users more easily share podcast episodes with friends. If you’d like to find out more about that, feel free to visit podshare.fm.

I hope you enjoy the content. If you’d like to reach out, the best place right now is to connect on LinkedIn. Thanks!
